To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of the movie Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, the Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Godzilla (2002) "Battle in the Storm" is now available as an unpainted soft vinyl assembly kit!
The Shonen RIC Limited Edition features molded colors inspired by the coloring seen on the actual suit.
Just like the fully painted product released in 2019, Sakai's cast prototype was converted to wax when producing the master mold.
This version of the model has been produced solely from this master mold, and wear and tear has been minimized by utilizing soft vinyl material, making it possible to focus on reproducing the finer details that any collector would appreciate.
Additionally, transparent material has been used for the back components, including the dorsal and tail plates, allowing for more expression when painting!
